Lost items policy
Effective Date: 09.07.2024
Introduction
This Lost Items Policy ("Policy") is a part of the Rental Agreement between MYBENEFICE ("Company") and the renter ("Renter") who agrees to rent a dress from the Company. By renting a dress from the Company, the Renter agrees to comply with the terms set forth in this Policy.
Definition of Lost Item
An item will be considered "Lost" if it is not returned to the Company within 15 days after the end of the rental period, and the Renter has not provided proof of return or communicated a reasonable explanation for the delay to the Company.
Renter's Responsibility
The Renter agrees to take all necessary precautions to ensure the dress is returned in the same condition as it was received. The Renter must use the provided return shipping method and must obtain and retain proof of shipment.
Notification of Loss
If the Renter realizes that the dress cannot be returned within the designated return period, the Renter must immediately notify the Company via email at mybenefice@hotmail.com or phone at 0627085658.
Assessment of Loss
If a dress is not returned within the specified return period and the Company has not received any communication from the Renter regarding the delay, the dress will be deemed lost.
Charges for Lost Items
In the event of a lost item, the Renter agrees that the Company will charge the Renter's payment method used for the rental the full retail value of the dress as indicated on the dress's product page at the time of rental. This charge will be processed automatically, and the Renter consents to this charge as a condition of the rental agreement.
Full Retail Value
The full retail value of the dress is determined based on the price listed on the dress’s product page on the Company’s website at the time of the rental. This value is non-negotiable and final.
Disputes and Appeals
If the Renter believes the dress was wrongly classified as lost, the Renter may appeal the decision by contacting the Company within 15 days of the loss notification. The appeal must include any relevant documentation or proof that the dress was returned on time or was delayed due to circumstances beyond the Renter’s control.
Modifications to the Policy
The Company reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Company’s website. The Renter agrees to review the Policy periodically to stay informed of any updates.
